WoW Forever Hall of Thanes Guide: Quests, Bosses & Loot

WoW Forever Dungeon Overview: Hall of Thanes (13–18)
Hall of Thanes is the very first brand-new WoW Forever dungeon introduced in World of Warcraft: Forever. Built to bridge the iconic level 13 to 18 progression band, it sits alongside legacy instances like Ragefire Chasm and The Deadmines, offering Alliance and Horde adventurers an authentic dwarven crypt dungeon rich in dwarven lore, high monster density, and early rare blue armor upgrades.
Among the official roster of original WoW Forever dungeons—serving alongside its counterpart Ruins of Lordaeron (15–20), as well as Wetlands Dig Site (24–29) and the pinnacle beta challenge City of Dalaran (28–33)—Hall of Thanes serves as the introductory proving ground for early progression.
The dungeon is situated in Dun Morogh at The Shattered Pass. The crypts have been infiltrated by hostile Dark Iron dwarven marauders, golems, and plagued by restless dwarven spirits awakened during recent seismic disturbances.
During the official September 17 to October 21 Closed Beta (capped at Level 30), this WoW Forever dungeon serves as the primary early farming hub. Clearing this instance with its 5 bundled quests provides enough experience to propel characters directly from level 13 to level 16+ in a single clean run.
